1. Who we are and who this website is for

Moonlight Stories LLC operates moonlightstoriesllc.com from Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA. This policy explains how information is handled through our website, communications, and direct-store purchases.

The website is intended exclusively for adults aged 21 or older, including parents, guardians, family members, educators, and adult customers. Children's books and activities are intended for children's enjoyment under responsible adult supervision. The website is not intended for children to independently register, submit personal information, purchase merchandise, or download products.

2. Information you provide

Our Contact Us form requests your first and last name, email address, subject, and message. These required fields and any information you include are processed through Squarespace's native contact tools and routed to lety@moonlightstoriesllc.com so we can respond to inquiries about products, orders, and events. Please do not send payment card details, passwords, sensitive documents, or unnecessary information about children.

When direct checkout is available, order information may include your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, products ordered, transaction details, and communications needed to process and support your purchase. For digital products, when offered, we use the information needed to provide purchase confirmations, download or access instructions, and related support. Product categories may include books, coloring and activity books, eBooks, PDFs, printables, stationery, merchandise, personalized items, gifts, and physical or digital bundles when actually offered.

3. Newsletter and your choices

Newsletter subscriptions are voluntary and separate from contact inquiries and purchases. Our newsletter requests an email address and uses the native Squarespace list “Moonlight Stories — Book Release Updates” for product releases, events, and other news. Where a confirmation email is sent, use its Confirm Subscription button to confirm your request. If you did not request a subscription, you may ignore that message.

You may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in marketing emails or contact lety@moonlightstoriesllc.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary order, service, or legal communications.

4. How information is used and shared

We use relevant information to respond to inquiries, process and fulfill orders, deliver digital purchases when offered, provide customer support, send requested updates, operate and understand use of the website, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations.

Squarespace hosts the website and supports its native forms, newsletter storage, and commerce features. Information needed for communications, payment processing, physical delivery, or digital fulfillment may be processed by the service providers used for those functions. When checkout is activated, payments are handled through the provider actually connected and identified in that purchasing process. This policy does not identify an unconnected payment provider or claim that we store full payment card details.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, address fraud or security incidents, or protect legal rights. Third-party services and marketplaces handle information under their own notices. Amazon purchases are separate from our direct-store transactions.

5. Cookies, analytics, and spam protection

Squarespace uses technologies needed to operate its hosted sites and can collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, and browsing activity. Its analytics tools help explain how visitors use a site. Squarespace Activity Log is enabled.

Our native Squarespace cookie banner is enabled, and non-essential cookies are set to Restricted. Visitors can choose Accept all, Decline all, or Manage cookies to accept, decline, or manage optional cookie preferences. Cookie Preferences allows visitors to revisit their choices. Cookie consent is separate from acceptance of purchase terms or refund policies.

The Contact Us form uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. The saved cookie settings do not constitute independent technical verification that every possible tracking technology is blocked before consent. No additional analytics, advertising pixels, or external tracking tools were installed as part of our cookie-banner configuration. Browser settings can also manage cookies, but blocking cookies may affect website functions.

6. Protection and retention

We limit our use and disclosure of personal information to the purposes described here and applicable legal requirements. Website and service-provider safeguards do not guarantee absolute security; no internet transmission or storage system is risk-free.

Information is retained as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, customer service, transaction records, applicable legal obligations, and legitimate dispute resolution. The appropriate period depends on the information and purpose; this policy does not promise a fixed retention period. Deletion requests are assessed subject to legal retention requirements and service-provider procedures.

7. Minors

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from minors. Parents or guardians who believe a minor submitted information may contact lety@moonlightstoriesllc.com to request review and appropriate deletion, subject to legal requirements. Please provide enough context to locate the submission without sending unnecessary sensitive information.

Our 21+ audience notice and purchaser declaration do not by themselves establish compliance with children's privacy laws, including COPPA, or constitute independent age verification. Applicable protections for children's information remain in effect.

8. Privacy requests and updates
